Bernadette L. Peters was born Bernadette. Lazzara, born in Ozone Park Queens New York on February 28, 1948, is a songwriter/singer and a writer of children's books. Bernadette Peters has in the last five decades appeared in TV and film productions, and in solo performances. She was nominated for and received 3 Drama Desk Awards. Grammy Awards went to four Broadway Cast Albums in which she was a part of. Peters performed as a child on stage, and then was then acted in teenage roles during the 1960s and 1970s. Apart from her appearances on The Muppet Show, The Carol Burnett Show, and on other television shows, she was also praised for her roles she had played in Annie and Silent Movie. In the 80s the actress returned to Broadway which was where for more than three decades she was among the Broadway's top performers. Her singles have been released along with several casts albums and performs regularly in solo concert acts. Peters also works as an actor in TV and film and has won once and been nominated for three Emmy Awards. Jennifer Jen Carfagno was born on July 19th 1976 and is currently a meteorologist on TV for The Weather Channel. She hosts AMHQ between 6 and 9 AM during the week.
