Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor throughout his career. The actor is best known for the roles he was in "Law & Order Special Victims Unit". In college, he began to pursue a passion for acting. While at the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. Although he's been in films and on television but it's the actors portrayed in small screen that have given him popularity. His ability to portray characters in both legal and non-legal settings has captured the attention of the public. He played the part of a serial murderer in the first TV series he appeared in but later went on to portray the character as an NYPD detective. The actor has been nominated several times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen performance. The most appealing feature of his face is thought to be his distinctive blue eyes. They are believed to be a trademark and have aided in depicting the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. He was named in People's magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
